In recent services we have been talking about the experience of God’s word coming to abide in us. As we hold it in our hearts and meditate on it, the Holy Spirit comes. Then we begin to prophesy that Word out of our own mouths.
Through this past winter, the Lord has been speaking deeply to us. From the time of our Feast of Tabernacles celebration in the fall, the Word of the Lord has been leading us closer to our Heavenly Father and to a greater awareness of His love for each of us.
Every once in awhile it is important to step back from the daily press and reconnect to the sense that it is God who is at work in us to will and to work His good pleasure (Phil 2:13).
Shiloh is once again embarking on a course of reading the Bible together, and I have been thinking about the deep anointing that comes to rest upon people who pursue a relationship with God in His Word.
