In February 2010, a group from Shiloh started gathering Tuesday nights in downtown Iowa City to worship and pray for their community. Those that attended were mostly students from the University or young professionals that were crying out to see a deeper hunger for the Lord in their town.
Those initial gatherings have grown into a weekly Tuesday night service called “Shiloh @ Iowa City” where there is an emphasis on prayer, worship, and the study of God’s word. The service is multi-generational including college students, professionals, and young families.
Even though today our numbers may be bigger, our drive is still the same – to make Jesus Christ the King of our hearts and be a representation of the Father’s love to Iowa City.
Come visit us and let your hunger for the Lord be renewed. Our meeting place varies but we keep the Shiloh @ Iowa City Calendar updated with our current location and a list of upcoming activities.
