Pentecost – The Spirit and the Word
May 15th, 2013 – Posted by

God has given us His word, but it is through His Spirit that we can understand it and have it live in our hearts. As Jesus taught, the Holy Spirit would guide us into all truth and remind us of His words. In our relationship with the Holy Spirit the Word of God stops being something apart from us; it comes off of the printed pages and begins to live in our hearts as a reality that we can walk out and experience in our daily lives.

Live in it, Rehearse it, Become it, Speak it
May 1st, 2013 – Posted by

For the past few weeks we have been talking about finding our prophetic voice. Our emphasis has been on the truth and promise of God that His sons and daughters would prophesy (Acts 2:17). This weekend I talked about the relationship with God in His word that each of us must have as the source of our prayer and prophecy.

Christ In Us – The Positioning of Our Prayer
April 24th, 2013 – Posted by

Recently I was asked, “how are our prayers and prophetic utterances creative?” Since it was part of a study I was already doing, I brought an answer in the message in our Sunday service. The message was titled, “Christ In Us – the Positioning of Our Prayer.”

Find Your Prophetic Voice
April 14th, 2013 – Posted by

We must find our prophetic voice to change the course of this age. Change will come from the victory of Christ proclaimed out of our mouths. You must immerse yourself in the Word. Read the scriptures, live in them until the witness of Christ comes alive in your own heart. Then proclaim the victory that Christ has already won. It is the word of our testimony that will overcome every accusation of Satan. Lord, let each member of the Body of Christ find their voice to speak your Word. Scripture references: Revelation 12:11, Revelation 19:10

Passover, a Family Affair
April 5th, 2013 – Posted by

Although Passover has a powerful application for any person or people who suffer under bondage or oppression, the celebration itself is very family oriented. This year at Shiloh, many families were celebrating and throughout the night pictures were exchanged through the wonder of technology (i.e. text messages). Over the days following, stories began to come to give context to the pictures.

The Leaven of the Accuser Removed
March 24th, 2013 – Posted by

The Lord is cleaning out our ears to hear His voice. The accuser of the brethren has whispered lies that are like leaven, tainting our heart and responses. By the blood of the lamb we must see the leaven of the accuser removed until we come to know the Father’s love for us. With this experience, God can dwell in His people and through them express His eternal love to the whole earth. Scripture references: Isaiah 11:3, Psalm 40:6, 1 Corinthians 5:6-8, Revelation 12:9-11, Ephesians 3:14-19, John 17:19-23

Mature and Be His Kingdom
March 12th, 2013 – Posted by

In Sunday morning’s service, I began the message in Ephesians 4:11, which lists five gift ministries that the Lord gives to assist us in our maturing. These ministries are for the equipping of the saints, to mature us all into the fullness of Christ, but they are not our end goal.

A Community of Faith Creates Kingdom Relationships
February 8th, 2013 – Posted by

With a number of weddings in the near future, this past Sunday I addressed the steps we are taking on a practical and spiritual level to take our wedding ceremonies back from the world’s patterns. As a community of faith, we all share a responsibility to play an active role in the family relationships which come forth in our midst.

Enabled by God, His Word and His Spirit
January 20th, 2013 – Posted by

In this message I spoke about the power of God’s Word. When we received Christ, God gave us the right to become His sons (John 1:12). In Christ, we have the Son — God’s Word, hope, passion and desire — residing in us. Christ ascended and sent the promise of the Father, the Holy Spirit who also dwells in us (John 14:26). Now we have the Father’s love, the Son, and the Spirit residing in our hearts. This is the power of creation. The things of God will be brought forth by those who know what dwells in them, and by it, have the authority to silence the lies of Satan by speaking the creativity of God.

The Fall Feasts
September 14th, 2012 – Posted by

In the scriptures, God commanded His people to appear before Him 3 times a year (Deut 16:16). Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread celebrates the Israelites exodus from Egypt, while the Feast of Weeks (Pentecost) 50 days later marks the first fruits of the harvest. The final time is what we call the fall feasts, which is actually made up of 3 feasts – The Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah), The Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur) and the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot). At Shiloh we celebrate this time with special services, fun activities and a camp out. It is a time where we anticipate God revealing Himself to us in His word.  We look forward to celebrating with you.
