One of the highlights of the Shiloh School of Prophets is the Independence Day fireworks show held on July 3rd in the Shiloh Amphitheater. The show never fails to delight the thousands who come for the spectacular combination of fireworks and music. I wanted to give a behind-the-scenes peek into some of the amazing efforts and hard work that makes the show possible.

The 2011 School of Prophets conference opened last Tuesday evening with an incredible time of worship and a message of deliverance from Gary Hargrave. Our toils and perseverance must never be allowed to dull our love and desire for God.

We’re into the last few days of preparation before the 2011 School of Prophets Conference begins. Many people from the Young Adult School of Prophets are already here and the crew of the Shiloh Amphitheater show has started arriving. We are excited about the week ahead of us, but for now there is still a lot to do: We’re still getting everyone registered and and getting the rooms ready. And we’re cooking a lot of really good food. And mowing, trimming, and cleaning a lot of really green grass. But mostly we are just waiting for you to arrive!

I can’t help but think about the gathering together of those who share a

Preparation for the School of Prophets Conference is in high gear. Over the last few days so many people have talked to me about their anticipation for the conference that I requested a few write something to me. I wanted all of you to hear the faith and anticipation that I am hearing.

We are approaching the 2011 School of Prophets Conference with a determined faith that the Lord will appear again at Shiloh by His Word. My wife Phyllis recently made a declaration that I wanted to share. I think it perfectly describes our attitude as we prepare for this year’s conference.

In recent services we have been talking about the experience of God’s word coming to abide in us. As we hold it in our hearts and meditate on it, the Holy Spirit comes. Then we begin to prophesy that Word out of our own mouths.
